It will depend on how dirty the carpet is, the length of the pile and the temperature both inside and outside the property. The machine I use removes large amounts of moisture, so your carpets should dry rapidly. You’ll be able to use them soon after I leave. I usually say to allow 4 hours for it to be properly dry.

No, don’t worry about that. I can work around large pieces of furniture. I would say move any smaller items out of the room, especially anything of value I can cover chair and table legs whilst I work and remove them once the carpets are dry.

Any vacuuming before would be appreciated/welcome but not essential as I vacuum thoroughly as part of the service

For a 2-3 bedroom house, it usually takes 4 hours. This of course is dependent on the degree of soiling within the carpet(s).

All I need is access to hot water to fill my bucket for the machine, but don’t worry, I won’t use too much. By law, I have to dispose of the dirty water down the toilet. Otherwise no, I bring everything with me. Rest assured I will leave your bathroom as I found it.

This only happens if there is too much residue left within the carpet, usually when people clean them themselves. The cleaning system and application methods I use, ensures they stay clean for longer.
